The estate of James Jarvaise is pleased to announce the forthcoming catalogue raisonné of the complete works of James Jarvaise. Prolifically active as an artist between California and New York from 1942 - 2015, the catalogue raisonné will for the first time bring together all of Jarvaise's works and illuminate his entire artistic development. Each work will be individually documented together with its provenance as well as a list of the publications and exhibitions in which it has appeared. The catalogue raisonné will provide a comprehensive overview of the artist’s wide-ranging body of work and serve as a basis for future research.
The estate invites all private collectors, museums, galleries, and auction houses who are in possession of works by James Jarvaise, and with whom they are not yet in contact, to lend their support to the project and get in touch with them. Information on the provenance of the works is also welcome. All information will be treated with the utmost discretion and strictest confidentiality.
